Tushar Joag (b. 1966) studied at the Sir J.J. School of Fine Art in Mumbai and the Faculty of Fine Arts in Baroda, as well as completing a residency at the Rijksakademie in Amsterdam in 1998-2000. He is a founding member of the artists initiative Open Circle Arts Trust in Mumbai and has participated in numerous shows, including Crossing Generations: DIVERGE at the National Gallery of Contemporary Art in Mumbai (2003) and Edge of Desire: Recent Art in India at the Asia Society and Queens Museum of Art in New York (2004-2005). Tushar Joag lives and works in Mumbai.
